We are Court House Five. A gigging band who play rock covers from various genres ( rock/indie/punk/post punk 90s artists up to the present day ) Facebook page under this name.
Consisting of a male and female singer, rhythm and lead guitarists , bass and drums - a 6 piece line up.
Our current drummer is now off to play in an originals project.
Based in the Southampton area for rehearsal, gigs are between here , Fareham , Gosport and Chichester to date. Average gigging has been once or twice a month and we will be booking more once we have a new drummer. We are now having to cancel bookings with pubs due to the drumming vacancy. But are keen to crack on once we have a replacement and can start booking gigs again.
Earnings are £40-60 per gig each , as there are 6 of us in the band, and the venues being pubs pay what they pay on their modest budgets. So if you’re responding to this ad please bear that in mind .
We are looking for someone who wants to commit as this relatively new band goes forward too.
As well as experience or ability at this level, we will be looking for someone who will fit in well with an easy going and fun group of people. Age range is 30s to 60s , and age/gender no issue . Also we seek someone with a good work ethic and is able to commit to gigs and rehearsals ( usually twice a month typically ). We enjoy what we do and want you to as well!
