We are an established Blues band and we seek an accomplished DRUMMER to join our line-up. We operate from the Epping/Harlow area and our current drummer has family and increasing work commitments that sadly dictate he is now serving a notice period.
Our repertoire is very diverse within the Blues genre, with so much scope for inventiveness from behind the kit! What we need is a DRUMMER who can confidently play a variety of shuffles, can swing and who understands the importance of 'light and shade' dynamics. Some additional talent for percussion would be a bonus.
You'll need to be a nice dude without an ego; someone who is willing to be a good bandmate and contribute with the things necessary to achieve success.
To get up to speed with our sets of material, we do have very good reference
recordings but you would need to attend a (hopefully) short run of weekly rehearsals to get gig tight with the rest of the band.
We also need you to have good availability for a decent number of high-profile club/festival gigs already booked for early 2027 and beyond!
