Hiya,
We're Young Fatigue, an alternative band based in London. Our sound is probably a combination of 90s grunge and 00s pop punk, although our most recent stuff has really been leaning into that 90s alternative sound. You can check out our stuff here: https://linktr.ee/youngfatigue
It's an exciting time for us. We're planning a bit of a rebrand/relaunch with a tried and tested content strategy. We're playing a sold out show supporting Winona Fighter this Wednesday at The Black Heart. We've been played on BBC Radio 1 and we've self-produced creative music videos that we're super proud of. We've also had a lot of success going viral in the past on TikTok, and looking to replicate that in the future.
While we function well as a three-piece, we're exploring the idea of getting a second guitarist (or possibly a bassist as our bassist can also play guitar) to thicken our sound live, and give our singer an opportunity to run around with the mic for a few songs in the set. Someone who can pitch in with backing vocals would also be great. And if you really enjoy singing too then there's defintely room for more of that too. Overall, it would be cool to have someone who can add something new to the band's current sound (e.g. more creative lead guitar lines, interesting use of tones/effects, female vocals).
Our main requirements is someone who is a solid player who can bring a lot of energy on stage. And if you want to spice up guitar parts and get involved with songwriting, you're more than welcome. No real requirements on age/gender/background, as long as you can get behind the identity of the band, musically, aesthetically and politicly. Oh, and we're very lucky that everyone in the band is super lovely. Only interested in people who can match that vibe.
So yeah, if you might be interested, hit us uppppp
