Blackpool based band Indigo Bloom are looking for a drummer to complete our line up.
We play original music only and currently have over 10 songs written and rehearsed.
Member’s ages range from 25 to mid 40s so we’re flexible in that area.
We’re looking for a confident drummer that can play comfortably in different time signatures and with a click track, that will put in the time to learn the songs outside of band rehearsal time, is open to experimenting depending what the song calls for and has access to their own kit and transport to and from gigs.
We currently only rehearse every 2/3 weeks but record the songs during the rehearsals so everyone can listen back and come prepared for the next one.
I’ll list some influences and things we listen to but we’re not trying to sound like these bands or set on playing a particular genre. It’s about all the members coming together to contribute and make a sound that is ours and we want people who are passionate about contributing to building something exciting and original.
With that in mind I should add that we don’t and won’t use AI to write our music.
We like Radiohead, The Cure, Fontaines D.C., My Bloody Valentine, American Football, New Order, Magdalena Bay, Deftones, plus strands of post-punk, post-rock, and post-hardcore.
