Covers band looking for a drummer.
We are an easy-going bunch who aim to produce a typical party band show, but with a more quirky mix of songs than most covers bands play. The important thing is that we want everybody to have a enjoy playing music and being in the band, so any new member would be able to introduce some of their favourite songs which they want to play. But please also look at the list of songs below, and make sure you are happy playing these as well.
We are; female lead singer, bassist/singer, rhythm guitar/singer and two further lead/ rhythm guitars. Aged 40 to 60. We have all had experience in other bands, and have been playing together in our current line-up for about four years. We aim to have fun doing private parties rather than just touring the pubs. We play for enjoyment rather than maximising cash and aim to gig once or twice a month. Practise is just to the South of Newbury on most Monday nights, in a private studio (with cheap fees). Half the band travel some distance to practice, so dont feel you need to be Newbury based.
Our song list includes (in no particular order);
Hanging on the telephone Blondie; White Wedding - Billy Idol; Sweet Child o Mine Guns and Roses; Can't explain & Substitute - The Who; Dakota Stereophonics; Favourite game Cardigans; Little Respect Wheatus; One way or another Blondie; Only happy when it rains Garbage; Paint it Black - Rolling Stones; Sweet about me - Gabriella Climi; Crazy little thing Queen; Teenage Kicks Undertones; Mercy Duffy; Who Knew Pink; Message in a Bottle Police; Only Exception - Paramore
