Dear Drummers,

This isn’t just another remote session gig – it’s an invitation to co-create something meaningful.

We’re building a collaborative blues/blues-rock album made up of around 9 original tracks. While we’re building ideas already, this is not about just playing to a script – we’re looking for a drummer who wants to shape the music with us. Someone who values musical conversation, and who brings both solid groove and thoughtful creativity to the table.

Here’s what you can expect:

- A chance to influence the arrangements and bring your perspective to the songs
- Collaboration over perfection – it’s about feel, ideas, and connection to the blues
- Your name credited on every track, with royalties shared when the album releases on all major platforms and limited physical media
- No live gigs – just a focused, high-quality studio project driven by passion, patience, and shared creativity

We’re using Logic Pro as our primary DAW, but as long as you can record clean, tight multitrack drums to a click (some songs are in varied time signatures), your setup is your own. The idea is to explore, refine, and evolve the songs together.
Success, to us, means:
Releasing a finished, sonically beautiful album, creating a small but genuine audience through radio, playlists, and online fan support. Long-term building a community that might grow into something sustainable through Patreon and shared content.

It will take time, care, and communication – but if you’re someone who wants to contribute to something built on trust, openness, and love of the blues, then we’d love to hear from you.

Age isn’t important. Location doesn’t matter. Passion and spirit do.

Hi Mike / Jake,

Having read your ad I felt compelled to drop you a line.

As a drummer of many years with a passion for blues / rock .....and groove that makes a whole room move in synch........ your request touched my creative juices and interest.

I have just finished an original project that took me in a slightly different direction to the blues that I love but it added to my depth of knowledge in pop / indie vibes.

I added my swing and feel to the songs and felt as if the contribution added feel.

I am not sure if I have what you need and if the tracks required will be required from a remote aspect or if the recordings will be created from a studio? I am a rare click lover and recording is a joy (the secret is in the pre-work and being prepared.) I have a passion for doing what is right for the song and not overplaying.

I live in Houghton Le Spring with pro Gretsch gear and transport and I believe its good for band members to meet and discuss what is expected for and from a project.

Thers no ego from the drum stool here... my job is to lock in with the bass and let the song find its direction and when required add some flair / feel and a groove that would make a fire dance.
