Are you a drummer?
Can you keep time at least most of the time?
Do you own drums, cymbals, and a vehicle capable of transporting them without violating several safety regulations?
Do you enjoy playing music in bars and pubs?
Even better—can you occasionally resist the urge to do a 14-minute drum solo between songs?
Bad Alchemy are on the hunt for a drummer. Our current drummer is stepping away, so we need someone ready to jump in and keep the gigs rolling—we’ve already got shows booked for the whole year.
About us:
We’re an established Hampshire indie rock covers band with good contacts with popular local venues around the south. We play crowd-pleasing indie rock classics with just enough chaos to keep things interesting. We aim for weekly (ish) rehearsals on a Friday and 1–2 gigs a month. We’re motivated, friendly, handsome, and want to keep growing the band.
You can find our setlist and links to all our social stuff here:

About you:
• Drummer with solid timing and enough energy to survive a pub gig in July.
• Reliable with rehearsals and gigs.
• Backing vocals? Amazing. Shouting along to choruses? Also acceptable.
• Some stage presence is a bonus—you don’t need to twirl sticks, but maybe look like you’re enjoying yourself occasionally.
• Happy to pitch in and help with other band-related stuff (social media? Live audio? Booking gigs? Helping us carry heavy kit?).
What you get:
• Regular gigs around Hampshire and surrounding areas.
• A motivated, friendly, band environment.
• The chance to shape our sound, add your own flair, and hit things loudly in a socially acceptable setting.
If this sounds like your kind of chaos, drop us a message with a bit about yourself, your experience, and any clips or links you have.
