Hi there.
Well here we are again. Our latest drummer has decided to leave the band so we are in need of a replacement.
We have a slot become available for audition on 6th Nov 8pm if anyone wants to try out and can learn these 6 songs for then
Happy (Pharrel Williams)
Long Train Runnin (live version) Doobies
Superstition (Stevie Wonder)
Hot Stuff (Donna Summer)
Saw Her Standing There (Beatles)
Summer of 69 (Brian Adams)
Will send more info on these if you reply. Will add more audition dates if required..
We are The Firecrests, a Midlands wedding/party/function band. Check us out at https://www.thefirecrests.com/
We have just done a promo vid and are currently advertising/looking for gigs, no bookings as yet, so need someone that can get caught up with our Song List fairly quickly (see website for full list but we also have a shorter set list prepared of 33 of those songs).
We are currently 1 female vocalist, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass and keyboards. Just need you.
Songs will vary but think mainly ones that will get folk up and dancing and keep the party going.
Doing this mainly for fun but want to get to gig and earn some pocket money.
Ability to do backing vocals (especially harmonies) would give you an advantage and you should also have decent gear for gigging including mics and own transport. Male or female welcome.
Our ages range from 34 to 58 so preferably within that age group or younger.
Must be able to commit to the one band, to learning songs and then rehearsing once a week/fortnight, currently we are doing Wednesday evenings 8-10 at Pirate Studios in Leicester, and be free for gigs as and where they come up.
Sorry but not keen on anyone who thinks they can run in more than one band (no side projects, deps) or whose jobs may interfere with rehearsing or weekends (no shift workers, been there and it doesn’t work).
So if you are interested in doing something fun like this with a varied set list and are prepared to look the part then get in touch and let us know all about you, age ,location, experience, kit etc.
Thanks
Ian
