Drummer needed in 2027 for Four Piece Punk/Ska Covers Band
The Stories
Playing the likes of :
Sex Pistols
The Jam
The Specials
Bad Manners
Elvis Costello
The Only Ones
The Ruts
The Clash
Stiff Little Fingers etc
Based in Chorley The Stories are celebrating our 21st Anniversary.
We are mostly a Pub Band and occasionally we're asked to play the odd Scooter Rally or Festival.
We have played over 1500 Gigs
Our previous Drummer stepped down a few weeks ago & we are finishing this years run of shows with our Dept Drummer and Friend Robin from the Band Pike .
We're looking for a new Drummer to begin with us in 2027 .
We play 2 or 3 times a month on Saturdays or the ocasional Friday in the Northwest of Lancashire
The potential new Band member must have his or her own Vehicle &
Have a good knowledge of the Material that we are playing .
Backing Vocals would also also help but not essential .
What we don't want to do is be bogged down with practicing for Months on end .
We have our own Free Practice Room
We have our own full up & running & Gig ready PA System
We are all in our mid 50s and early 60s & easy going but any age can apply .
