Misfit Drummer
(Manchester)

Hello there, my name is Adam I'm a professional Drummer based in Manchester. I am currently available for Studio work, Session work and on the look for a Function band. (On a side note - also open to exploring the world of Backline Technician and/or Drum Technician should the opportunity arise.)
I've been a gigging Drummer for the past 12 years playing venues up and down the UK from local pubs to the Club circuits on through to the 1000+ venues.
Studio work is one of my great loves in music, being creative and exploring ideas to best serve the Music.
My strong suits are; Playing tastefully to the song (and serving the vocals most importantly), Playing with a click (I run IEMs for both live and in the studio, comfortable playing with backing tracks as well). And Communication (I speak and read Music; Notation, Charts, audible cues etc.)

It's a showcase of my playing, mostly tracks I really enjoy playing along to, and past Video auditions I made for bands I previously worked with.
I record my own content all out of my Rehearsal space in Bury. It's an honest little set up, running Cubase 5 with an Akai 4 channel interface, with Kick, Snare and a pair of overhead Microphones. It gets the job done and makes Preproduction a lot easier when I can demo Drum tracks for the Producer and or/ engineers before arriving onsite for scheduled sessions.
Other skills
- Video Editing (Since I started my Video Portfolio on Youtube I really got into this side of the creative elements of Modern Content)
- Audio Mixing (Nothing special, but I produce a balanced mix with a focus on vocals)
- Video Directing and Storyboarding (In My last band I was given the opportunity to create the Music Video to Accompany the Title Track on the album. I know it's nothing special but for my first ever attempt, not bad eh? Click the link to take a look at my work.

When it comes to Musical Influences, I'm always trying to keep up with what's current at the time (artists/ bands/ DJs/ Top 20 on the radio)
I find my playing is more of a feel rather than an influence of what came before but I guess it's more rock/ pop orientated, than me trying to sound like one of my Heros in Music.
Past bands and ensembles range from Metal through to Swing Jazz
I'm certainly more influenced by the marketing of Music and what makes a great song great. (Please just email me about this topic alone, plenty to talk about haha)
Shoot me a Private Message on here should you like to work with me.
Cheers
Adam
