Project: London Crossing
We're an original music project built around a Caribbean/ska-influenced sound blended with modern dance/EDM production, looking to add one to two vocalists. Our first single, "Peace and Love," is out on Spotify now while we complete the lineup and start promoting with a live act.
We're looking for a distinctive, specific sound. Someone confident in Caribbean/ska-style delivery, possibly with rap or MC skills too, who can sit naturally over contemporary dance production. This isn't about finding a generic singer. We want someone who genuinely gets the songs and connects with the style.
What we're after:
- A vocalist (or two) confident in Caribbean/ska-style delivery, possibly rap/MC
- Comfortable working over dance/EDM production
- Open to being part of the project long-term, not just a session job
- Opportunities to write on the rest of the album, for those who believe in the ethos of the music
About the project:
London Crossing draws from crossing places, cultures and experiences, with music that doesn't sit in one genre box. Written with an award-winning songwriter, and produced by a top UK producer whose credits include work with major chart-level artists. Based in Belfast/NI, but open UK-wide (and happy to talk if you're further afield).
