I have been building in public a free set of tools for musicians, with nearly everything I can leaving as free when im live - charging the bare minimum for any costs to me from services I eventually offer and then giving back a huge amount of that to charity.
The platform already has:
- Free band websites to make a place to share everything
- Free band backstage tooling, to manage the band, gigs, calendars, contacts, rehearsals
- Free musician board to find each other
- Free venue ownership (for venues to post gigs and link to bands)
- Alerts so people can sign up to venues or band updates
- Band directory to find what you want to listen to or contact for gig bookings
- Straight forward booking process section
I am building:
- Rehearsal Room and Studio area for all the rehearsal rooms to integrate at as cheap as we can genuinely offer it
- A booking market place to advertise gigs and let bands sign up and show interest for them
- Sell merch direct from the bands areas
- Ticket sales area to genuinely disrupt the market and offer a great service
- Use the above tools on our site or your site (maybe, depending how that lands)
So I myself and my friend who are working on this are doing well financially, this is a love project built by genuine musicians on a serious road to create something truly amazing for musicians, bands and the industry.
