CALLING ALL MUMS, DADS & BUSY PEOPLE! London

Hello!

I'm 40 with a kid so I don't think that I'm going to make it at this age, nor do I have the enthusiasm or the time to play every gig to empty rooms anymore, but I've played tonnes of gigs in covers and originals bands, and I still write, I have my own little home studio setup and spend most evenings writing and recording stuff and would love to meet open minded, easy going people who aren't aiming for the stars so that we can connect remotely, work on stuff at home, meet up once a month or so and then aim to record and gig every now and again.

I'm a guitarist of a high standard and I normally write anything from blues to rock to alt rock to stoner rock, and I can sing but am happy to work with a singer, but aside from that I'm looking for a bassist, keys/synth and a drummer. My influences ultimately range from The Stones, Hendrix, Led Zep, The Clash, Radiohead, St Vincent, Nirvana, RATM, QOTSA, The Pumpkins, but whatever sounds good is fine with me.

Any ability is welcome really. I can provide examples on request.

This would be casual but it would mean some commitment to actually working on the stuff, meeting up every now and again and working towards goals of recording or a gig, but it's really not meant to take up a lot of time and there's no pressure. I'm also happy to do a lot of the heavy lifting.

So if you're a busy person, and/or a parent with limited time but still want to write and perform maybe this is your thing! Honestly, if you're not sure if you're good enough, or haven't done it for a while just get in touch.
