We’re a friendly and experienced 5-piece band (bass, drums, keys, rhythm & lead guitar + dual vocals) playing a mixture of originals and carefully chosen covers, and we’re looking for a trumpet player in particular, but also looking to add strings (cello/fiddle/violin) too.
Our previous trumpet player has stepped away for a while, and we have some great gigs booked in for the summer; in particular a 45min set at Bovey Tracey's Picnic in the Park on 25th July, which is the main event of a week long carnival that usually has large crowds of approx. 1000+: https://boveytraceycarnival.org.uk/events/16/picnic-in-the-park.html. We also have an open invitation to play at the Whisky Distillery in Bovey Tracey, which is a great venue, the attracts a really good audience.

We don’t rehearse constantly or gig every weekend, but we care about playing music we love and doing something interesting with a wide range of styles and arrangements. The gigs we choose to play are usually a good venues with great audiences.
We’re especially keen to find someone available to rehearse with casually over the next few months ahead of the Picnic in the Park slot, but longer-term involvement is very welcome if it clicks.
