When making a post, our attention is drawn to the following message by the site management:
A few things to bear in mind before you post...
Firstly, this is a musicians classifieds, i.e. musicians seeking band members - off-topic ads will be removed
Don't spam! Do not post the same ad across loads of regions. A few neighbouring regions is fine, but the same ad in 20, 30, or all regions will just be seen as spam and all the posts removed
If you've got something relevant to most of or the entire country, please post it in the National section
This post doesn't even meet the first criterion. It's “off-topic”. It’s spam and doesn't belong on this site.
For The Site Management:
Some of the problems you will get as a result of not removing obvious spam (such as this) are: Musicians become fed up with having their adverts pushed down unnecessarily and they stop posting here and move on to other sites (such as facebook where they do delete spam). Also, genuine businesses see these spam adverts and wonder why they pay for featured adverts when they could just spam your site endlessly. Also, it encourages other potential spammers (who see that they can get away with it) to start spamming your site and adding to the problem.
I recommend you block the I.P. Addresses of the devices they use to access your site. If you are unable to do this then I suggest you delete their user accounts and block the associated email account so that they will have to open a new external email account and then open a new site user account to start again. It won't necessarily stop them spamming your site but it will cause them significant inconvenience. The faster you delete these spam pushing user accounts and block their email addresses, the more arduous it will become for them. Perhaps then, after a while, these spammers will give up and allow genuine musicians and paying businesses to place their adverts without being disadvantaged.
