Hey,
We're a North East originals Rock band that has been together for almost 5 years and we're looking for a bassist, preferably one who can do backing harmonies well too!
We have management in place, we're serious about wanting to take this as far as we can (but don't worry, we're serious about having fun doing it too!) and have a back catalogue of songs and even more fresh ideas ready to be worked into so we need someone who is intuitive when working with other musicians, can pick things up quickly, talented and can suggest plenty creative ideas of their own while also working to someone else's requirements where needed.
We need no ego's but someone with a great stage presence is a must. Someone confident and ready to put on a show every time wither 1 or 1 thousand people are standing watching.
We need someone fairly flexible when it comes to their day jobs, evenings and weekends free often who preferably isn't working on a shift basis as we've found this to be hard to work around in the past.
We're looking to attract a bassist who is influences by bands that would fall into a rock/pop rock/soft rock/pop punk/punk rock/ska rock genre, maybe even a bit of melodic grunge, bands like:
Alkaline Trio, Frightened Rabbit, Biffy Clyro, Paramore, The Distillers, Dead Sara, Hole, Nirvana, Zico Chain, The Interrupters, Against Me!, The Offspring, Blink 182, Avril Lavigne, Sam Fender, Frank Turner, Youngblud, The All American Rejects, Jimmy Eat World, The XCERTS, Bush etc.
