Hi there!
We're a new band based in Bucks and London and are looking for a bass player, ideally someone who can ~slap~ (though this isn't a necessity, whether we vibe is wayyy more important ofc!)
We're currently comprised of myself (Vocals, fingerstyle guitar, Producer + Mix & Mastering Engineer), Jack (Guitar, Keys) and Sam (hitting things).
Our style is a blend of pop, rock, alternative/indie and electronic, with nods to jazz harmony and tonality. We're keen to get gigging asap and just need a great 4/5 stringer to complete the lineup. Influences include anything from Jeff Buckley (we are covering So Real in fact), Radiohead and Paul Weller (covering You Do Something To Me) through to Billie Eilish, Tame Impala and Bonobo. We all have pretty eclectic tastes so anything goes from the live side.
A bit about us individually:
Arrun (me): I'm a singer (tenor), guitarist and full-time pro producer, mix and mastering engineer. The original material we're playing is primarily stuff i've written. I'm a total weirdo when it comes to music and love anything weird, out there or just groovin. Link to my stuff: https://open.spotify.com/artist/6BC5uRM7wo0YvYN6c5NH5X
Sam (drummer): formerly of Five Fathoms Deep, now called The People Versus) has played festivals across the UK and a metric tonne of sold out shows across Oxford and London. Personal influences range from Steve Jordan, to Jonathan Moffett and Carter Beauford. He is as comfortable talking about the works of Jeff Buckley as he is discussing the intricacies of modern hip hop. If you have a love of music and are able to channel the funk - come say hi.
Jack (piano, guitar) formally of the band “SALT” (headlined multiple shows back in the day) recorded an EP at the iconic Abbey Road studios after winning a national competition. Previously been in bands that have rocked numerous gigs in London and graced several festivals. We are looking for someone who loves music as much as we do!
We're all committed and serious about getting things out of the practice room and onto the stage, so if you think we might be a good fit, please say hi!
Cheers
Arrun
