???? BASSIST + VOCALIST WANTED — NOTTS / DERBYSHIRE ????
18–30 | ROCK / PUNK / POP | PUB & LIVE CIRCUIT
Me and our guitarist Lewis are looking to build a 3/4-piece covers band and we're looking for a bassist and vocalist to complete the lineup.
We're both in our early 20s, have over a years playing experience and a bit of live experience from supporting previously. We're not claiming to be rock stars, we're just looking for people who are reliable, enthusiastic and want to get out there and play gigs.
What we're going for:
Rock / punk / pop-punk / pop-rock, basically proper pub crowd pleasers that people actually want to hear and sing along to.
We've already got 10 songs we could confidently play live right now, and we're aiming for around 15 songs over the next couple of months.
Vocalist:
Vocals only is absolutely fine.
No need to play an instrument.
Bassist:
Bass only is absolutely fine.
Backing vocals are a bonus but not essential.
Location:
We're happy to cover Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire, so don't worry if you're not right on our doorstep. We practice in Mansfield currently, but happy to change it up to accommodate you.
Rehearsals:
Weekly or every other week, depending on everyone's availability.
The goal:
Get a solid set together, get ourselves onto the pub circuit, and build from there. Ideally we'd like to have our first support slot or full gig by New Year.
We're starting completely fresh, so no band name yet or anything yet, everyone's welcome to have a say in where it goes.
We're looking for people who are reliable, easy going, have no ego and are genuinely up for doing something with the band. We're open to ideas and want everyone involved in shaping it.
