Bassist seeks casual fun Crystal Palace

Hello.

I play bass.

It's possibly the shortest shortscale you've ever seen.

I also play keys in another band, so I'm looking to casually scratch my bass-playing itch with some musicians local to me. (I'm based in Crystal Palace.)

The word "casual" here means not rehearsing three times a week (or even once week), not having ambitions to blow up, and just generally enjoying making music together.

When it comes to musical style... as long as it's fun but not too dumb, I'm in.

Recent listening includes the likes of lots of egg punk (Prison Affair, Beer, The Coneheads, CCTV, Suburban Lawns, and obviously DEVO), a good dose of soukous music, Stereolab, William Onyeabor, 90s Todd Edwards, Rio Babilonia by Jorge Ben Jor, The Little Shop of Horrors soundtrack, Period Bomb, and Skateboard Shindig! by Piccola Pupa (which is a 60s Italian bubblegum pop song about, well, skateboarding).
