Bass Player Wanted – Modern & Classic Country Band

We’re looking for a bassist to complete the line-up of a newly rebranded country band.

Current line-up:

* Male lead vocal/rhythm guitar
* Female lead vocal
* Lead guitar
* Drums

Our set is built around classic and modern country rather than the usual pub covers. We cover artists such as Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Johnny Cash, Midland, Chris Stapleton, Josh Turner, Zach Bryan, Ella Langley, Lainey Wilson, Drake Milligan, 49 Winchester, Carrie Underwood and more.

We’re looking for someone who:

* Has a genuine interest in country music.
* Wants to be part of building a band, not just filling a spot.
* Is reliable, committed and prepared for regular rehearsals and gigs.
* Is comfortable transposing songs into different keys where required.
* Is comfortable using WhatsApp and digital calendar apps to keep organised.
* Enjoys working collaboratively and contributing ideas in a positive way.

Technical ability is important, but attitude, reliability and enjoying the music are just as important. We’d rather have someone who’s invested in the band than someone who’s simply looking for another gig.

We already have gigs booked and are working towards building a strong, long-term live band with a fun, energetic honky-tonk atmosphere.
