BASSIST REQ FOR ROLLING STONES TRIB & OTHER BANDS COVER Bury St Edmunds / Mildenhall Area

HI all BASSISTS out there .. STONED WITH FRIENDS .. a part Rolling Stones Tribute & part Other Monster Artists ( eg Led Zeppelin, ACDC, Eric Clapton/Cream, REM, Jimi Hendrix, The Jam, Greenday & others ) band need a Good Bassist to complete their line-up. But almost more important a bassist who is a nice guy, reliable, motivated, without ego problems and who doesn't want to take over the band / call the shots ( you of course will get a fair democratic say in things ! ) nor change the band name for spurious ' morality ' concerns ( we are not looking to do Weddings etc and nor are we drug addicts regardless of the slightly edgy band name ! ). A sense of humour would also be an advantage. Sorry to be so blunt about our requirements but you would not believe the various issues we've had with potential personnel we've looked at. If you knew them you'd better understand. On the plus side we have very committed and stable / experienced musicians in the age-range early 50's - just over 60 in the band who are looking to have fun playing rock - classic and more modern - to live audiences at pubs, clubs & mini-festivals. Who we have already are competent, stable, family-oriented / working guys who just love to play good music and well. Our song / sets selection is well advanced and practiced already and we'd look to get a bassist up to speed as soon as he can & with a view to looking to gig maybe 1-2 times per month .. maybe occasionally more .. and as soon as possible.
