Hi Everyone
I'm Viv, a 27 year old guitarist from Bournemouth/Poole. I need a drummer, singer and bassist for a new pop/rock function band I'm putting together. Happy to play anything within reason (as long as we can all play it lol) but with an emphasis on pop and rock. Think: Queen, Blink 182, Ed Sheeran, GNR, Elton John, Kings of Leon, The Proclaimers, Oasis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Eagles, ACDC, The Killers, The Beatles, Tina Turner and many others etc...
A couple of disclaimers: I don't drive (I am working towards this) and I don't have a PA or mixing desk. I realise this may put some people off but hope it doesn't altogether. If we are doing local gigs then transport of course doesn't matter as much, but if we do gigs further afield, having enough transport between us to get us all too and from gigs would ofcourse be beneficial.
Criteria
- Have your own gear (Singer - PA, Drummer - Kit etc...)
- Have a great attitude and be reliable
- Be able to play and/or sing to a high standard
- Some form of transport would be ideal based on what I mentioned above (sorry to be a hypocrite lol)
Once we have the core members, I/we may consider additional ones i.e second guitarist/keyboard player etc... but for now, the main members I need are a drummer, bassist and lead singer.
If the above sounds like you please get in touch with some promo of you singing/playing. I have included a link to my YouTube channel down below so you can see me play too, as well as my email and WhatsApp.
I look forward to hearing from everyone!
Many Thanks,
Viv
