Hi,
My name is Darren,
I have also sent you a message over whatsapp, Just incase you were wanting more details than that in a message, I thought I would also respond on here with abit more about me, if this at all helps.
I am not from around here, I grew up around the welsh border, where I went to High school in Wales, when I joined my 1st band as a bassist, we were a very poor cover band tributed to Nirvana and Blink 182.
We grew apart, and I then joined a different band as a drummer (very basic), where the other members were all foreign, and was sung in spanish. I loved the music, but the singer had to leave country, so we broke up, I then joined a band few years later which was a coverband for likes of ACDC, Led Zeplin, Black Sabbeth, and few general pop songs for weddings etc.
I then took a very long gap in playing any instruments due to having very busy life, with job and having kids.
I then joined a cover band very briefly a few years back on drums, but I was not to their taste (I sucked lol)
I have always loved the bass, I have a Union Jack painted on it, which I love, and sounds amazing.
Little about me as a person, was in Army for 6 yrs, which is how I ended up here, discharged cos of hearing loss, probably the drumming not helping...
I have a lovely office job now, so steady day job, but I am looking to spend more time playing evenings and weekends.
im seperated and have 3 kids, so they do take up some time, but I can arrange my free time if needed for practice and gigs.
