Yes!
Hey there,
We are a band by the name of Free & Bhoote's Working Sack. The members are Free, Bhoote, Hard and Sure! We also have a drum kit rotator named Plant.
We are looking for a compass holder to show us which way we need to be facing during live shows. We use a magnet attached to a drone which maneuvers randomly around a calibrated area of distance, which would be the stage. We need someone to keep us facing north in relation to the magnet. Our old compass holder wasn't quite the standard we need, as we kept getting complaints from the crowd regarding us not facing the right direction at the right times, etc. Hard (our drummer) plays on a rotatable surface which is maneuvered accordingly by Plant, the drum rotator, so there is no need to worry about the drummer always facing the same direction.
We are currently pitching to labels and have had some interest, most notably from The Taken Ask Records, based in Illinois. The band itself has been active for around 4 years and has received positive crowd reviews, despite being rejected by Warner, EMI, Sony and Roadrunner. The reason for rejection was due to the fact that the compass holder and drum rotator were not completely in sync, which many A&R representatives pointed out. Most of these said labels have informed us that they will sign us if we had a higher skilled compass holder. This could be you!
To be our compass holder, you must have/be:
Over 6''2 tall.
Willing to stand approximately 2 feet from Free (vocals) at all times.
Willing to incorporate dramatic arm motion to inform the band on their new required direction faced.
A strong intuitive relationship with our drum rotator (arm motions and drum rotation would NEED to be as simultaneous as possible.
Flexible for all hours as shows can be at any time of day at any size venue.
Contact me on here and I will check if you have what it takes to become our new compass holder.
Thanks a lot for stopping by,
Sincerely,
The guys at Free & Bhoote's Working Sack
