SubMachina is seeking a keyboard & synth player for an original music project (live & studio)
(please note: this isn't a covers band and we don't know anything about music made after 1999!)
ABOUT US
• The band comprises an experienced vocalist and an acoustic drummer, based in Lincoln
• We are building a compact live & studio project for original late-80s/early-90s Manchester-style post-punk, indie-dance and darkwave.
SubMachina LINEUP:
• experienced vocalist / songwriter
• live acoustic drummer with electronic sampling kit
• US-based guitarist / collaborator - his multi-tracked guitar parts are in our music releases & backing tracks
• M-Live B.BEAT backing track system
• Mackie 2kW active PA
• some lighting & other stage gear
YOU ARE A KEYBOARD / SYNTH PLAYER who is:
• comfortable with synths, pads, organ, bass patches and straightforward programming
• happy playing to click/backing tracks
• keen to play our original material

• reliable, easy to work with and suited to a mature, no-drama lineup
• local to Lincoln or happy to travel for rehearsals/gigs
• an organised player who enjoys 80s/90s style dark, atmospheric indie dance / post-punk and wants to be part of a proper live band, not just a studio project
