We are looking for like minded individuals to join us as our style of music falls into the alternative scene such as alternative rock, metal, jazz, funk, disco, reggae, punk, goth, indie, folk, afrobeat, latin, blues, trip hop, R&B, hip hop, drum & bass and country etc. Which personally it's the best way to go as there isn't any restrictions and we can go as heavy or soft as we please and minimisic or packed with busy drum beats and fills and bass and guitar riffs and lines. The ability to gel and respectful as people and musicians forming a outlastiing bond such as Korn. People tend to forget music is a form of self expression and we go on the ethos of self expression and genuine respect for each other. We are in the 20s, 30s and 40s age range.
This would be a good opportunity to join and help build motown style group of being a mixture of genders and ethnicities. We are a wide range of musicians, songwriters and vocalists We are in our 20s, 30s and 40s who have common interests in the band and co-operative. We work to each others strengths and identify our weaknesses and help to improve them as its the part of growth and development of our group. We use music to meet new people and make friends to enhance our music and longitvey to our group. We also have some recording studio experience as well.
All of the people who we potentially work with must be versatile and have some experience playing genres listed and more will be in the main structure who are a rapper, vocalist who write the songs and a band consists of bassist and guitarist who composes them based in Bristol, Bath and South Dorset. We are in our late 20s to early 40s so anyone in that age range of late 20s to early 40s would be preferred but not essential..
We are planning to do many projects in many genres with covers and originals alike. We are wondering if there are more musicians and vocalists who would like to join us on our venture. Everyone would be getting our fair share on performance rights and royalties also songwriters rights and royalties with 100% creative freedom.
We are based in Bristol, Bath and Dorset. We will be meeting for jamming sessions and rehearsals at various rehearsal studios in Bristol.
We do understand there are other commitments in life such as work, mental health and family etc. So you would have fellow musicians to talk to as the ethos is being respectful, supportive and understanding of each others differences and commitments. We set to create a safe space alongside making music
We are currently working on a few latin projects alongside afrobeat with a set list to work on and add. Our set list all written by our singer and rapper. Both are open to what we can add and create to their songs. We are aming to get together a 45 minute set list at August at the earliest.
Hopefully we would be prepared and ready to play at festivals in Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire along with function e events in and around Bristol alongside clubs and bars.
My number 07849 069662 if anyone would be interested don't hesitate to contact me on WhatsApp. Our projects with our current drummer who would assume be leaving us will be sent on request as well Bandlab links and Spotify to get the idea of our set list.
