Hi, My name is Kieran, and I am 21.
I’m looking to create a band with some like-minded people, not yet named (open to suggestions), to practice together and eventually take further onto the music scene. I’ve written my own material, which I’m also open for changing and adding too etc.
I been playing guitar for nearly a decade, so I’ll be hoping to hear from some vocalists, drummers & bass guitarists in the area. If you play guitar, still send your reply.
Some of my main influences range from GNR, Metallica and Iron Maiden to Nirvana, Oasis, Stone Roses and AiC, but I listen to loads of genres and musicians. Most of the song’s I’ve wrote would be in the Grunge/ Indie genre, more similar to the last 4 bands I mentioned.
If you reply, please try to include:
- Name & Age (Preferred age similar to mine)
- Location
- What instrument(s) you play and your preferred.
- Any other information that I may find useful. It could be anything (E.G.) Do you want this as a career? Influences? Do you write songs? Do you have a sense of humour? Do you have confidence in-front of people? ANYTHING that you think would help my decision.
If you have any samples of you playing/ singing, please don’t hesitate to send them too, they can be anything, for however long as you want.
Thank You for reading, and Good Luck!
Alright mate?
My name's Tom, I'm 26, live in Cheshire but more importantly - I play bass like a motherf***er. Impressed with your list of influences, especially that GnR were first as Duff is a huge idol of mine. For anyone that doesn't appreciate how good of a bassist he is, really needs to go back and whack Appetite for Destruction on their stereo on repeat haha.
I've recently left my last band. They practised in Stoke, and as I'll be studying in Manchester from January - I'm looking to get myself set up with a new band in the Manchester area asap to be honest. Music is my life and the last few weeks that I have been bandless have been a bit itchy haha. Well, that's not entirely true. I do play in a covers band and we rehearse once a fortnight (nothing by GnR unfortunately, but I did convince them to slip Slither into the setlist depending on the venue)
You can check my last post for a bit more info about me, my playing, my past experiences etc.
Get back to me on Whatsapp if you like, easier init 07711950717
Cheers
