AORTA is hunting for a drummer and bassist who live for breakdowns, big choruses, and playing loud rooms with their mates.
Based: South London / Hampshire
Rehearsals: Byfleet (twice a month)
Status: Gig-ready, writing + recording consistently
Who We Are
•? ?Established modern metalcore band - heavy riffs, shout-along hooks, and emotional lyrics you can scream back.
•? ?First singles already released, including debut track “Fading From Inside” (music video).
•? ?Continuing down a heavy, ambient metalcore route with consistent new releases planned (COULD ADD SOME INFLUENCES HERE)
The Vibe
•? ?Age: ideally mid-late 20s, but mindset matters more than the number.
•? ?Goals: regular gigging, festivals, and consistent releases.
•? ?Sound: modern metalcore with big melodic hooks and serious low-end – energy, bounce, and raw emotion.
Who We’re Looking For
Bassist
•? ?Tight player who locks in with drums and moves on stage (no statues).
•? ?Comfortable with modern metalcore tones: Darkglass-style grit, distortion, 5-strings, drop tunings.
Drummer
•? ?Solid to a click with groove, bounce, and tasteful fills.
•? ?Bonus points if you use sample pads, triggers, or like adding extra layers live.
What We Expect
•? ?Commitment to rehearsals (twice monthly) + weekly online check-ins for writing/planning.
•? ?Creative Input - arrangements, ideas, and production input.
•? ?Tech-friendly: DAWs, pedals, recording, etc.
•? ?Reliable transport (ideally driving, or at least able to get about).
•? ?Content-aware - TikToks/Reels experience is a big plus for this release cycle.
