Alt Rock/Grunge Band Looking for Guitarist Newcastle-upon-Tyne

We’re a band consisting of a drummer, bassist and singer based in Newcastle. Our music sits somewhere between grunge, alt rock and alt metal.

We’re inspired by bands like Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Melvins, The Smashing Pumpkins, Primus, Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless and plenty more.

We formed around a year ago and have since released our debut single Trustfall, along with a music video.

We’ve written a bunch more songs and are now building our live set, ready for more recording and gigging.

We’re all in our 20s, experienced from previous bands and have solid connections in the local scene and beyond for gigs, recording and video work. We’re organised, easy to get along with and take this seriously while still keeping it fun.

We rehearse regularly (usually every week or every two weeks), write original material and keep momentum going. This is a creative outlet for us alongside our day jobs, something we’re proud of and want to grow properly.

We’re looking for a guitarist who can handle both lead and rhythm parts. Ideally, you’re in your 20s, into similar music and reliable. You don’t need to be a pro, we just want someone solid, committed and who knows how to get a good tone.
