The material started as my bedroom project and has now become a trio band - vocalist and bassist (me, female, 23), a keyboardist and vocalist (female, 27) and a guitarist (male, 27). We'd love a female drummer, LGBTQI+ or ethnic minority drummer (not cos we're diversity quota fetishists but bc people from different backgrounds often bring more interesting sound), but anyway it's not a requirement. Inspirations include The Breeders, Laurie Anderson, Mitski, Bas Jan, Beach House, Joanne Robertson and EERA. Here's the inspiration for the future musical direction:

We are working together to shape the sound into something more rocking, experimental and dynamic. We're looking for someone who is really down to get stuck in; to bring their inspiration and rework the tracks as a collaborative effort. We are working with the intention of regularly gigging and recording an EP.
Here is a demotape for the current material:

The demo tapes were entirely produced by me on my 8track, so it has a very different sound than we are working towards, though we will keep some of the lo-fi and clunky charm.
We are open to people of any skill level (within reason), but it is important that you're able to play, or at least practice, to get yourself up to a good standard. You also need to be able to commit to regular rehearsals and gigs.
We rehearse on average once a fortnight, currently in Brixton.
Get in touch if interested!
