Hey there! So, Echoviolet is/was an alt rock band that gigged regularly across West Yorkshire and featured on BBC Introducing. But the band was put on hiatus last year. But I am restarting the project with a brand new lineup and a full album’s worth of new material ready to take into rehearsals, gigs, and eventually the studio. Currently it's myself on vocals and guitar, we have a new drummer and guitarist, just need bass now to complete the line up.
I’m looking for a reliable, enthusiastic musician who wants to be part of something serious but also the aims to have fun and enjoy it, but with clear goals and a strong work ethic to get us where we want to go.
The Music
I have three new demos on SoundCloud showing the rough new direction. Think heavy alt rock, with post-punk vibes but commercial radio friendly choruses. I also have some more heavier tracks too. I am happy for us to also write new songs together once the groups solidified.

The Plan
• Learn the tracks I have so far together and get tight as a group
• Weekly rehearsals
• Start gigging regularly and build a new fanbase
• Write some tracks together
• Record the album properly
• Release it all with music videos, play festivals, and just enjoy being in a band
Rehearsals:
• Based in Keighley - I have a unit/studio with drum kit, amps, and recording capability
• Available weekday evenings or weekends any time
• Aim: once a week (more when needed e.g. before a big gig)
Who You Are
• Roughly 20–40 (flexible)
• Male or female
• Reliable, committed, and up for being part of a proper band
• Able to gig
• Willing to chip in for recording/merch when needed (we’ll also aim to earn from gigs)
If you want to join an established but also fresh alt rock project with strong songs, clear direction and a great vibe, get in touch.
Send a message with a bit about yourself, your experience, feel free to include any links to your playing.
Look forward to hearing from you!
