Howdy! We’re ALL NERVE, i.e. Luci and Maia (both she/her) currently a two part formation looking for fellow musicians who want to get creative juices flowing together, have fun and play some gigs!
Luci and Maia met at queer book club a couple of years ago, bonded over a shared love of having opinions and making a racket, and here we are, starting a band together. Here, Luci plays guitar and Maia plays drums, and we both have experience in other bands, gigging and recording. We’re in our early 30s and consider ourselves as pretty chill people.
We’ve been meeting up and jamming for a few months now; building songs and sounds. It’s been a good time. But we need to fill out the other half the band to really get this thing off the ground, and that’s where maybe somebody like /you/ come in ????
We’re looking for a bassist and a vocalist at minimum, potentially scope for a second guitarist or synth player. Bassist and singer can be the same person if you can do both! We're looking for the vocalist to be another 'instrument', rather than a front person. Songwriting experience and backing vox are a plus, but not essential. Willingness to muddle through, get experimental, go on a sonic voyage together- always good!

We also have some WIP songs on the go, but cocreation is the vision and we're banking on synergy.
Practical stuff: we’re looking for London-based musicians- we normally practice roughly every other week in Hackney/Dalston/Greenwich.
