Hi,
My name is Otto. I'm looking to put together a Cover duo that allows us to play as many gigs as possible. By this I mean not limit ourselves in terms of genre and having a setlist that gives us the freedom to play in a Rock bar as in a chilled Jazz Café or in the Streets.
My focus is to have a good time, make it sound good AND make money. Everything split 2 ways, earn as much money making music as possible.
I am an actor/musician so I'm looking to put on a persona alla Tom Waits/Nick Cave/Lanegan/Cash. Think Heartbreak and Bourbon. I play guitar, piano and trumpet, so I need someone to play rythm guitar while I sing and then I'll play the solos. We can exchange and you can do some solos as well or even a guitar duel/duet. I'm open/interested in anything that adds some flavour/showmanship.
You should be into looks as well, not just a tshirt and jeans but something that has an unique image, whatever you feel that might be, we can discuss the options.
I'm also looking for a partner in crime, by this I mean we should be able to share some drinks, have fun on stage, go partying after the gig if we feel so, be a wingman with the ladies, all based on freedom, of course, but you gotta be a bit crazy and not tied up by social normatives. I don't want a regular person. I want an interesting, great musician, smart with personality and taste, not afraid of trying something different for the theatricality of the show.
I have a Roland Cubestreet EX so we can play in the streets, and I have an Izettle for contactless collaborations. I'll get a bank statement and split all the contactless in 2 ways. Cash gets split in the moment.

As you might notice, I'm very into Jazzy/Bluesy versions of pop or rock songs, to give a twist to the usual covers that everyone play.
So, if you're crazy enough but not TOO crazy, you are focused, don't like to waste time, take it seriously but still like to have a good time, not too tied up to reality, not afraid of having an on stage persona/attitude, you like your drinking but you can still perform to a perfect standard, ideally between 20/25 so we can rehearse at the Roundhouse, and want to start gigging ASAP (First half of January), please get in touch.
Thanks,
Otto.
