Hello there.
I' m nearly 60 and I havent been playing music many years and play red trombone an ocarina ( by ear only but fun), harmonicas ( most things I can tackle with those ) I never realised what a good ear I have for music till I got going about 5 years ago.
My husband and I can sing really well especially harmonising together , but we do very much prefer accoustic only sessions. We play in pubs mainly music sing arounds and folky blues sessions.
My husband and I can hold our own really well with ukuleles/ banjolele, ( he is also very useful and adept with bass ukulele which is similar to bass guitar , and of course amplified ) he did once play saxophone and clarinet and reads music very much better than. I do.
I am also learning the fiddle and doing reasonably well as I practice loads. Being retired we have time for this. This is my main desire to practice with other musicians. if possible but I am very very flexible with what I will play or try playing.
We mainly want people to practice different and not too complicated chords and songs with us, because it makes us happy, we do like having an audience but we are not too confident. We already have a large selection of songs and of course have strong memories for all the songs pre 1990s.
I am not expecting anyone on this website to want to share space with us but we do have ample space here if it is suitable to our needs. in Malvern, on the bus route.
