I am 28 years old and have been drumming intensely since I was 11.
From 11-18 I played in school Jazz, Wind, and Swing bands, this is where I developed my soft and technical jazz style. However every weekend without fail my school friends would have band practice at my house and it definitely was not swing. Punk, Indie, and even some metal were played during those super fun sessions.
From 23 -28 I was in several original bands, Screaming Devil Pleasure Beach (Keys) The Stamp, Lily Almond and also played for several friends for their gigs when they needed help (reviews below)
The main reason I left these bands was because it felt like a job I wasn’t getting paid for. It was fine for a while whilst I believed one of the bands could reach a point of monetisation, however the industry is hard to crack and I have rent, bills & food to pay.
I have reached a level of skill where I can adapt to any style, whether you want less flashy straight beats with a focus on timekeeping, or fancy and funky overplaying with time signature changes and all the bells and whistles I can do the lot. . . for a price.
The price will be fair and we can negotiate. I’m not looking to rinse people, I just want to keep drumming but not have it bleed money. I assure you I am worth paying for.
My 1st session is free so you can see
my insta is @gilly_fm which has some drumming clips on my highlights
it has singing vids too if you were looking for some backing vocals!

Jack has been an integral part of my band for the last two years. His playing is dynamic, intuitive, and always perfectly in the pocket. Whether it’s stripped-back or a driving, upbeat track, he brings just the right energy without ever overpowering the song. Working with him is effortless; he listens deeply, responds creatively, and always finds a groove that elevates the music. Jack's broad musical knowledge allows him to adapt seamlessly to any genre, and his versatility brings a richness to every project he’s part of. On top of that, he’s incredibly well-connected in the music world and often opens doors to exciting opportunities. Whether it’s finding the right session players, studio spaces, or gigs. Jack is not only a brilliant musician but also a generous collaborator who truly enhances the creative process.
