22 Year Old Guitarist Available Sheffield

Hi! I’m a 22 year old guitarist (from Cambridge) but currently living in Sheffield and completing my Masters in History. However, I’ve been wanting to pursue a career in music for quite a while!

I am a classically trained guitarist and have been playing for roughly 15 years. In that time I have managed to acquire professional-grade equipment (that I’m very proud of!). I haven’t had much stage experience of late due to my studies but that wouldn’t affect me as Im pretty confident and am very eager to get back into it! Obviously in those 15-ish years I’d consider myself a pretty good guitarist and have been jamming with Sisters of Mercy guitarist Ben Christo whilst writing/ recording with some other friends. I have a few demos that are in rough rough stages (basically put to a track so I don’t lose the idea/ groove for the song).

I am looking for pretty much anything really. I am able to rehearse and pick up songs quite quickly so can fit pretty much anywhere - covers bands, originals - whatever your pick! I can also sing backing vocals as well.

My music taste is somewhat varied and although I did grow up playing classical guitar, I have been playing classic rock songs/ blues etc for about 11 years but have recently branched out to get some more experience in other subgenres. So I can play a wide variety - Mammoth WVH, Alice in Chains, Rush, Guns n Roses, White Lion, ZZ Top, SRV, Black Stone Cherry, Sisters of Mercy, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Greta Van Fleet, The Cult, Chickenfoot, Dirty Honey and so on!

I don’t have a socials page where I post my guitar but I do have some videos in case you wished to see my playing etc.

Ideally I’d wish to join something melodic or groovy whether that be originals or covers - as said earlier, I am pretty much up anything. Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Blues, Post Punk/Goth (early The Cult kind of thing) so take your pick!

If interested do send a reply and we can quickly get something up and running or I can send some examples of my playing.

Thank you!!!!
