Are you a talented drummer with a passion for Metalcore? AORTA, a band based between South London and Southampton, is on the hunt for a dedicated drummer to complete our lineup!
About Us: We're AORTA, a group of musicians aged between 21-34, united by our love for heavy, catchy tunes. This year, we released our debut single, Fading From Inside (https://youtu.be/-RS5W8ckClU), followed by our second single, Bruises (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRUrkckiDRs). With two more singles lined up for release and around 40 new songs in the works, we're gearing up for an exciting future and need the right drummer to join us on this journey.
Who We're Looking For: We're seeking a drummer in their mid-20s to early 30s who embodies the following:
Skill: We're looking for someone confident in their abilities, experienced with playing to a click track, and proficient in double kick techniques.
Commitment: Our band rehearses twice a month in South London, holds weekly meetings, and regularly meets up (both in-person and online) to write music. We need someone who is ready to commit to this schedule and actively participate in our creative process.
Lyrical Support: All members contribute to songwriting, including lyrics and vocals. We're looking for someone who is not just a drummer but also has a creative voice in our music.
Additional Skills (Bonus): While not essential, familiarity with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) – particularly Logic – would be advantageous, as we use it extensively for pre-production and demo work. Having your own transport would also be beneficial.
