We are two guitarists and a bassist in our early thirties playing riffy, heavy music with ambience and dynamics. Inspired by the likes of Pelican, Intronaut, Russian Circles, Baroness, Opeth. We are interested in trying out vocalists who can take our tracks to the next level. I've been filling in on vocal duties, but I'm confident there are better heavy vocalists out there. We have two songs complete and are cracking on with a third with many more ideas recorded.
Our ideal collaborators would be people that want to get involved with the writing process and share some musical common ground. At the moment, we mix up collaboration via shared Ableton Live projects and jamming in person, and someone who wants to dive in to the Ableton Live projects and tear apart arrangements and add new stuff would be ideal!
Vocals: The vocal sound I have in my mind is something guttural that is a cross between Isis/Mastodon/Intronaut/Cult of Luna. Of course, we would be totally open to whatever unique styles you wanted to try out. We haven't used much in the way of clean vocals so far, but that's because I'm not a great singer! Our ideal vocalist would be someone that is also a fairly competent guitarist that can add an additional layer to tracks when required. We would like someone that has the gear to record demos at home so that we can quickly iterate on new songs.
You can find one song by searching for “light strike kite binary teal” on soundcloud. I can also send a rough recording of the second and third songs on request. Ultimately, we’re not looking for this to be too serious. We just enjoy making this music and if we can make it better with your input and get out there and gig it, that would be great.
We mainly practice in Brighton.
If any of this sounds good to you, please get in touch and include a demo if you have any.
