Hey guys so as you can see I am all the things above and it's a brain fog on a daily basis.
My name is Anthony Hayes, originally from Liverpool but moved to westcliff a month ago, I am a 34 year old singer and musician, vocals being my main instrument, I play guitar my second instrument, then I play around with keys, drums and bass. I have a funny taste in music from rock too indie to musical theatre which is a long list I know.
When I am writing I write to work with harmonies. A band that does this well in my opinion are system of adown I also write where there could be male and female harmonies or backing so would not need to be specific. My bands are as above system of adown, pink Floyd, Linkin park, * barenaked ladies * and many others from the 80s too now. I have put stars on barenaked ladies as I would love to cover one or two of there songs with the help of another vocalist aswell as a band, this being said I also want too write and create music with a band.
I have a recording setup at home where I can create and edit stuff in time due to my day job but also happy too build on this setup when I can afford to. Per example new speakers as exiting is currently all being done via headphones which isn't easy.
I have one track that I have written and recorded and produced to the best of my ability with headphones and am happy to send to anyone who is willing too listen, this song was performed by myself and everything you hear is solely bh myself on multiple layers using presonus Pro, Rhode nt1 mic, keyboard trigger with plug ins, elec drum kit with plug ins, electric guitar via DI + plug ins and bass guitar via DI + plugins.
