My name is Adam Jensen and I'm currently a primary school teacher in Plymouth.
Over the past year some children from our primary school have written and produced a unique song, called 'Together'. We will be releasing the track on 15th November 2019 to raise money for the NSPCC - and so far we have received some hugely positive comments and reviews (including from the highest level within the NSPCC) and featured in a very large number of press articles. Celebrities, such as Brian Blessed OBE, have even begun to get behind our cause and have tweeted about it! http://www.twitter.com/brianblessed
Upon releasing our news, HMV, Sainsbury's and Tesco all expressed a strong interest in helping us to sell the record and we are currently aiming to produce CDs for them to sell instore throughout November.
Our track was born for two reasons. Firstly, our children truly wanted to promote the idea of togetherness in what can be seen as rather troubled modern times. The other reason was simply because people thought that it would not be possible for us to achieve our dreams of a chart topping single.
To further help with promoting the charity track, we would be hugely appreciative if available musicans were able to assist us. You see, Plymouth City Council have very kindly agreed to give us the main piazza in the city centre to sing our track. We have enthusiastic children, a song ready to share with the world, hugely positive comments from everyone... but we have absolutely no experience of performing music and definitely not with playing a musical instrument for our children to sing along to! In a dream world, it would be amazing if we found a confident and amazingly talented person who could do some 'ad lib' tunes with our children which gradually built into our track. We are open to all and any ideas though as this is obviously a completely new area for us.
Anybody interested in helping us would not only build lifelong memories for the children who have worked tirelessly to produce the track without spending a single penny, but it would also go some way to supporting the NSPCC and the most vulnerable children within our society. We can offer you lots of very positive media coverage, a mention on any of our materials/website etc, some enormously brilliant children and the promise that you will definitely do a huge amount of good for children throughout the country.
