Hey guys and girls I'm 26 and play guitar mainly although I can play piano too, I have written many songs
my problem is that I'm a good guitar player and songwriter but just have a very flat voice which isn't bad but I'd much prefer to work with another singer pref. in their 20's but open to all, female or male doesn't matter.
I'd ideally like to work with other people's songs as well as my own and co-write material however for the moment let's see if you like one of mine.
So can you sing this following song better than me? And is it your thing? If so message me.
Here is a song I've already completed I've attached links to a video of me playing the song with lyrics as well as a video of guitar playing without lyrics for you to sing over and I've even written the lyrics themselves at the bottom of this email, so no excuses!
If you like the song and think you can sing it better please do get in touch with an example of you singing over the video without lyrics. If that works out then we can meet and jam and work on more where we share lyric and melody duties etc. If it's not your thing no worries.
ps; I have written things outside of a generic blues style but I just thought this would be a good intro, it's not necessarily the best song I've ever written.
pps. If your convinced you can sing this song better than me and do like it but just can't be bothered to record your own, message me anyway.
Cheers, Joe.

lyrics:
The moon must be hanging upside down
Their's a riot going on
all across this town
oh the moon must be hanging upside down
Strangers become lovers and old friends seem newfound
All ages, shapes and sizes are gathered in this crowd
And the wind's not half as wild, as the people all around
oh the moon must be hanging upside down
The liquor flows quicker as people drive by
Their dancing in windows hands up to the sky
And sweet old folk who live with the sun
Look up to the moon and feel twenty one
oh the moon must be hanging upside down
Your shy quite friend seems impossibly loud
Your feet seem to move without making a sound
There's a skip to your step and love's all around
Let's stay up to sunrise there's no stopping now
The moon must be hanging upside down
Yeah the moon must be hanging upside down.
