Guitarist seeks female vox & ANY instrument/ProgrammerDJ
So I used to sing and play guitar in bands and have worked in a&r as well as a product manager for some indie and major labels...I also have published and set up a production company where we synced music for film and tv etc...I have recently got back into playing after too long a hiatus and I’m enjoying writing creating again...but more fun collaborating so I’m looking for musicians of any level and any instrument to collaborate and create music for film, songs of any nature, see how it goes, with idea to perform live in future...or not...but definitely looking to write record and get out there in some form or another.
I guess I’m a rhythm guitarist but have a synth or two, piano which while I’m not trained in any way I can and do get sounds from...
I’d happily collaborate with anyone on similar vibes to me and my influences below but again I’m open.
Ideally looking for:
Female vocals
A choir
DJ/programmer
Keys/piano/synth
Violin/viola/cello
Strings of any sort
Brass
Drums/percussion
Sax/clarinet
Bass
Wind instruments
Producers/engineers
The spoons, kazoo or chopsticks on the sink...whatever you play or can get tuneful and interesting sounds from.
I’m seriously open to anything and to anyone of any identity...and any age...I’m in my 40s but wtf, doesn’t matter...it’s all about the music...and distance isn’t an issue as we can zoom send parts to one another to work on...
My likes are:
Velvet Underground
Pixies
Boards of Canada
ESG
Orbital
Soulwax
Primal Scream
The Fall
Andrew Weatherall and ALL of his ensembles
Laurent Garnier

I could go on and on...
As you can see I’d like to experiment and take influences from any of the above...
