Hi all,
* First of all - this ad is regarding a kids YouTube channel. So if this puts you off, let this be your warning from the start! *
I’m seeking a British female vocalist to remotely record singing for a new, British Children’s YouTube Channel that is currently in pre-production.
I need someone who:
1) is a good/competent singer.
[and]
2) has the software and microphone to record vocals at home to send over email/file transfer site. (This must be of decent quality, using a proper DAW & microphone, and not just recorded using your phone etc).
3) Has the capacity to sing happy, friendly and high vocals, appealing to children.
If this sounds like something that interests you, in these strange lockdown times, then please get in touch!
I believe this venture will mostly benefit an aspiring singer who wants to further/start their career in music. (Or someone who’s wants something to do, and wants to potentially be a part of something that could take off and become very popular!)
To provide a little bit of context of the YouTube channel set-up: my name is Rob, I’m 33 and I’ve played in bands since I was 16. I play guitar, bass, piano, drums and sing. I also write original songs. My brother-in-law Iain is a talented artist and animator. Between the two of us (and some input from other family members) we have recorded over 50 cover songs and originals in the past few months, and have started filming/animating videos to accompany the music. We aim to create regular content, from songs, to stories, to animations and puppets, all with British voices and accents - and not overly-Americanised like many children's YouTube channels!
Thanks for reading. If you’re interested then drop me a message and we can discuss further, and I can provide examples of our songs if you want.
Rob
