Female Singer Wanted for Function, Wedding and Party Band Daventry, Northamptonshire

We are a function, wedding and party band based near Daventry in Northants, specialising mainly in soul, funk, Motown, disco and pop from 60s artists to present day, and we are currently looking for a female singer to complete our line-up. We have a strong set of songs and confirmed gigs in the calendar ranging from private parties and weddings through to corporate events.

The current line-up is a male vocalist, guitar, bass, drums and keys (all mid to late 30’s), so we are looking for a female vocalist to join our male singer. On some songs you will be singing lead and others you will be providing backing vocals for the male singer, so strong vocal harmonies are essential. We are a laid back and friendly group who all get along really well. We take what we do seriously but the main thing is to have a lot of fun!

We have our own rehearsal space near Daventry which is easy to get to from both junctions 16 and 18 of the M1. Our website www.nortonsoul.co.uk has a couple of audio examples of what we do, and soon we will be recording a new show reel video and a new set of photos.

We are looking for someone with gig experience who has the voice and confidence to engage with an audience and create a party atmosphere. Age is not important.
