Hi,
We are an established post-hardcore/metalcore band from Doncaster called Realms. Our long time bassist has just left the band so we are looking for a replacement!
We take inspiration from bands such as Funeral for a Friend, Fightstar, Glassjaw, letlive., Underoath, Killswitch Engage, Silverstein, Alexisonfire, Thursday, etc...
We released our debut EP 'Echo Chamber' in 2017 which you can listen to below and we have just recorded our second untitled EP which will either be released later this year or earlier next year.

We gig fairly regularly around Yorkshire and further afield when the opportunity arises so we need someone who can drive and has access to their own car. We practice every Tuesday night in Doncaster at 6pm - 8pm but we are flexible about this and can move it pretty much to any other day. We all work 9 - 5 full time jobs and ideally we'd like someone else to join the band with the same working commitments as opposed to shifts but if the right person came up who worked different hours but was able to be flexible then it shouldn't be an issue. Sometimes the band thing can also be expensive... (promotion, recording fees, music video fees, photo shoot fees, travelling fees, etc.) so being relatively financial secure enough to chip in with these costs is essential also!
We are all 26-28 years old and would like some one of a similar age to join us, something around 25 - 29 would be cool.
Obviously having your own gear and having a good knowledge of playing the instrument would be essential. We're also looking for someone who will be able to add backing vocals when playing live so being able to hold a note would be preferred. We're not bothered if you've played in a band previously or whether you have any gigging experience, we're happy to bring someone onboard who's looking to play in a band for the first time.
Overall we're a pretty fun band, we like getting drunk after shows, we get along with each other really well, we're pretty chill and we don't take the whole thing TOO seriously. At the end of the day the band is a hobby and a bit of fun and that's how we treat it!
