Hi
We are an established band looking for a bassist and singer after realising that the current line up is not working for us.
We play heavy blues/stoner rock originals which are pretty riff-driven. Think Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Orange Goblin, Mothership, Led Zeppelin, Motorhead, AC/DC, GnR, Velvet Revolver etc as influences. Basically any great riff-rock! We also take inspiration from Rock n Roll, Punk, Blues, Prog, Metal...
We use some great studios in SW London for rehearsals during evenings and weekends. We are looking for a driven, committed and reliable bassist and singer that is keen to take an active role in songwriting and not afraid to give and take constructive criticism.
So we have some questions for you that we hope you answer “yes” to.
Are you, or do you know a bassist or singer who:
- Lives in London or the South East
- Likes rock music – at least our version of rock music and our inspirations above
- Wants to join a committed, ambitious and passionate band
- Wants to get involved with promoting the band and building our fan base as we grow
- Is in the age range 20-40 years old
- Is punctual and reliable
- Is comfortable writing bass parts and/or vocal parts
- Has a driver’s licence and their own transport
- Has all their own bass equipment needed for gigging and practise (amps and PA/mics are available at the rehearsal studios)
- Experience of being in a gigging and recording band before would be valuable
Ultimately we want to write some great songs, record them, gig, tour and drink some beers and have a laugh
We have around 10 complete songs worth of material that is good to go and loads of material to develop. We just need bass parts and vocals.
Of course we're completely open to any ideas/material you want to bring along too - the more the merrier.
We're committed, easy going guys in our 20's in SW London looking to take our playing to the next level as quickly as possible and beyond.
Rough demo recordings available on request - let me know your email and i'll send 'em over.
If the above sounds like your kind of thing, please get in touch
Cheers!
