he name of this band is Eclipse - The Pink Floyd Tribute, and we're looking for a bass player to fill the gap left by our last bass player. Let me tell you a bit about the project, and if it sounds good to you, then please get back to me.
I've been into Pink Floyd for more years than I can remember, and I've also been in a few Floyd tributes over the years to know that I'm bored. we're bored with the current trend in Pink Floyd tributes all playing the same material.
Don't get me wrong, I love all of Pink Floyd's material but I've been saying for years (probably about 20 or so) that the early years between 1967 and 1972 always get overlooked. It's taken Nick Mason himself to prove that I was right all these years and there's honestly a craving by Pink Floyd fans to hear all the material including the early pre-Darkside stuff...... Not just the "hits".
Animals, and Dark Side of The Moon are planned to be performed.
The intention of this Pink Floyd tribute is to cover their whole career from 1967 to 2014, it's all fair game.
A sample of some of the songs we're doing are:
Astronomy Domine
Wish You Were Here
Comfortably Numb
Money
Time
Breathe
Let There Be More Light
Fearless
Free Four
Young Lust
Hey You
Fat Old Sun
To name just a few.

So what do you need to be able to join Eclipse?
You obviously need to be able to play and to a pretty good standard, fretless and fretted. Vocals are a bonus but not essential.
If this all sounds good, and you're as excited about it as we are... get in touch!
