Music is my love. There should be no rules. Copycats can remain at home. Positivity and soul required.
People wanted who want too commit (not being dragged) as much time as they can to making something unique and pioneer a new avenue.
I will not engage with egotistical band members or dramas. I’m committed to making music that f**ks sh*t up and is labelled as a class A amphetamine. Soul, vibe and buzz and laughter contributes to the end result. So does a laidback character type and those that make it fun but structured. Breaking the rules is my fortay.
29 year old guitarist looking to set up an originals band in around the Cannock / Stafford area. (Relocating imminently within the next 8 weeks) been in bands, projects and gigged previously. Love it.
Influences vastly vary however would feel suited in an alternative/ rock / acoustic / grunge set up. It would be nice to make music that gets guitar cabinets destroyed however i have a flipside and love playing acoustic / indie. I love to write. It would be good to get gigging again. Just please no covers! Or if they’re done they are a complete reinvention. I would rather work with somebody who has devised their own style then a bc rich, dimebag darrell wah pedal owning tribute. (Marginal joke sorry likely not funny to all fellow bc rich owners)
Mainly lead however have a strong rhythm edge and often found combining the two. Told i have a very Led Zep, grunge indie sound.
I have a realm of gear and can transport also. Part of my setup includes octave pedals (would not be at all against a 2 piece or filling out the bass role) - bassist is always a winner! Also for my own practice i have a drum machine. If theres a way of making it work without it being naff i’m open. Drummer i think however is a must have for the music i want to write.
I have a Fender Telecaster, Fender 100watt and a realm of pedals and can transport circa of 15 miles in around the Cannock area. Give me a shout if any of this resonates with your wants!
Thanks for reading.
Dave.
