Our BASSIST has lost his passion for playing music unfortunately, nothing to get mad about, it happens but we're looking for a new kick ass player to replace him.
We rehearse mostly in Reading & Woking, twice a week usually. Very strong songs. Looking to take things as far as possible with a healthy eye on what the modern music industry entails. Our work process is very DIY. Obviously write but also produce, market, promote the music ourselves. We’ve done the legwork and self-funded everything. As a person, the larger your ambition and entrepreneurial streak is, the more excited you’ll be by settling alongside us in the process of helping us carve out our own little niche in the music world.
In the past we have had the tendency to attract players with a rather hobbyist mindset. It can certainly work if the playing ability is there but these relationships seem to run their course quicker and can make for a bumpier ride. We’re not asking you to be full on but asking that you respect the fact that we are. Nobody is deluded as to the current state of the music industry, everyone has other responsibilities, yet we forge ahead anyway – if you share that attitude, you’ll fit in like butter up a bellend! Above all, you must enjoy playing. If we don’t appreciate the journey then what’s the point.
As for the practical reqs –
Got to be able to play the songs to high standard
Own equipment, transport
Age, Sex – Any, either are welcome to apply
