Im not interested in playing other peoples sh*t cos quite frankly im not as good as Slash, nobody can reproduce his feeling and whats the point.Covers are for Steps and Mick 7 guitars are for Slipknot wannabes! To me its all about the feeling! Pete doherty is a sh*t guitarist, Tom Delonge is a sh*t guitarist, Kurt Cobain was a sh*t guitarist, Noel Gallagher is a sh*t guitarist (who uses multi layers, though you'll never know to hide his slow 5 chord changes). The one thing they all have is FEELING!!!! if you want a guitarist who isnt interested in trying to be the next Steve Vai or Joe Satriani, but wants to explore to the edge (and im not talking U2 here), of even just 1 chord. Im your man, and trust me, even if im just strumming one power chord, with my axe in one hand and a JD in the other, ill make you a million!!!

I am basically looking to form a band mainly consisting out of guitar (myself), keyboard, base & drums. Now that it's getting boring to always sit in my "bedroom" and emulate the rest of the band by programming their parts into the computer I would like to meet people who are into the same music as I am and start jamming with the aim to perform live, when we have practised a couple of songs (No covers!!!) together. I do not want to copy Pink Floyd, but would like to reach the same complexity and dimension that their sound has! I know, very difficult, but worth trying...Basically, I like to rock at the same wavelength as PF used to rock and to rock down all the fuzz by some delicate "noise". It would be appreciative if you have an inspirational as well as a technical approach to the music whereas the technical stuff always remains "means by use", but as well as possible. Please don't get me wrong, the stuff I've done so far is not the end of what I'm having in mind. I have transport and will be able to drive around part of my gear to meet up. I can also provide limited practising facilities, i.e. we can set-up in my living room. Please bring some decent gear including effects, if appropriate & possible. If you feel that songs like "Comfortably Numb", "Hey You", "Sorrow", "What Shall We Do Now", "The last few bricks" (Both "The Wall", Live) are also some of your all-time-favourites, we definitely should meet!
